Cosmetic Bonding
The dental bonding procedure utilizes a composite resin or a porcelain veneer to change the shade or shape of the teeth involved in the smile. Very little to no tooth structure must be removed for these procedures.

Tooth Shaded Fillings
Tooth shaded fillings are known as composite resin dental fillings. They are bonded to the teeth and usually make them stronger. While the expansion of an amalgam filling over time can cause fracturing of a tooth this type of filling does not.

Root Canals…
When the nerve of a tooth becomes invaded by decay or fracture root canal therapy is necessary to save the tooth. The nerve and blood vessels of the tooth are carefully and gently removed and the resulting canal or canals are filled in with a special material. The canal area is sealed and later the tooth is prepared to be restored with a crown to make it functionable once again.

Crowns & Bridges
Crowns are used to restore teeth to function and bridges are used to replace missing teeth. Unlike removable devices such as partials and dentures, which you must take out and clean, crowns and bridges are cemented onto existing teeth or implants, and can only be removed by a dentist. Ideally one would not want to treat a tooth that is in excellent condition to place a bridge. This is a time to consider an implant.

Partials and Dentures
Partials may be the treatment of choice to replace one or more missing teeth. They are removable appliances. The conventional partial is made from a cast metal base and uses metal clasps to retain it. However under the right conditions a metal free partial may be used as a more esthetic option. Dentures are used to replace the teeth when they are all missing. They can be made in a variety of ways, but an ill fitting denture can be of little use. The best fitting dentures are made like a custom made suit or dress. The tongue, muscles and lips must be involved in the design of the denture to obtain a well fitting one. The ability to eat, speak, and smile once again are the reasons a patient wants to have a denture made. These functions are vital to the well being of the patient.

Another alternative is to have an implant retained denture made [especially for the lower arch] that eliminates the worry of wearing a denture.

Teeth Whitening…
Transform your smile faster and easier with our teeth whitening services. We use a professional grade at home bleaching technique to whiten your discolored teeth in a convenient and cost effective manner.

Non-Surgical Periodontal Treatment
This treatment involves restoring health to the gums and bone. When tarter forms under the gums, bacteria cause the loss of these supporting tissues. The initial gum disease is called gingivitis. The gums become swollen, inflamed, red, and bleed when one brushes. Gingivitis is usually treated with a thorough cleaning and proper daily oral hygiene. However, symptoms are not always obvious , can be painless, and can go undetected and untreated without a proper examination and continued checkups every six months. The advanced stage of gum disease is called periodontitis. This involves the loss of bone and will result in the loss of teeth if left untreated. Any stage of “gum” disease can cause a very bad breath problem. Periodontal deep cleaning is the initial treatment used to return the gums and bone to health. This includes scaling and root planning of the teeth surfaces to remove dental tartar and bacteria from the surfaces of the teeth. There are times when a special antibiotic treatment is required to eliminate pockets between the teeth and gums to render these areas available to proper oral hygiene. It is estimated that over 50% of American adults between the ages of 30 and 90 suffer from a stage of “gum” disease.

TMJ Problems
TMJ is caused by a lack of harmony between the Jaw joint and the teeth. It effects the jaw joint and surrounding facial muscles that control chewing and moving the jaw. Symptoms include mild to severe headaches on a frequent basis, pain in the muscles of jaw, the jaw joint, the neck, or a tooth [ with no apparent problems]. Treatment can include an adjustment of the bite, a special night guard, and/or a medication. TMJ is most frequent among women and usually becomes more severe with age.

Invisalign [clear, virtually invisible trays] orthodontics are treatments offered to correct a bite or smile. While children usually begin treatment after all the permanent teeth are in [usually between the ages of 11 to 13 years old], early treatment may be indicated. Orthodontics can be performed on any age adult to address the patient’s needs or desired corrections of the teeth.

An implant is placed in the bone of the upper or lower jaws to replace the root or roots of a missing tooth. One tooth, several teeth, or a complete bridge or denture can be replaced in this manner. It may be possible to place the implant at the time of the extraction of the tooth or at some point thereafter. Implants are the best option to preserve bone, promote overall health, and save neighboring teeth from being involved in treatment when it is not desired. They are a long term, cost effective solution to replacing missing teeth.
